...and it revolves around a special day: A birthday, where the birthday boy isn't even in the thread yet and his older brother seems to have completely forgotten about his birthday. Figures!
"Well, I really hate to actually call you...hmm, how to censor the word...?" Rai mutters to Quinn, trying to find the equivalent of "dumb" in terms of "chocolate" with "fudge". "Lollipop-like? Can I stick to that?" He smirks slightly. "Pun unintended."
Quinn tilted his sunglasses down, looking at Rai in complete confusion. "How am I "lollipop-like"?"

Let's hope the narrator interpreted that correctly as in Quinn put on his sunglasses before he went outside, or that would've been really weird--for him to have the sunglasses on the entire time while inside, of course.
Rai blinks innocently as if he didn't just insult Quinn. "What do you think?"
He frowned. "Something I shouldn't be thinking if it came from you."
Offline
"Huh? I'm insulted. I say much cleaner things than most people," Rai retorts.
Quinn put his sunglasses on top of his head, sighing. "Forget it. Why are you really here besides pestering me?"
Offline
"It'd be funnier to have you guess," Rai muses, apparently having dropped the bad mood. Or maybe this is his bad mood, dunno.
He rubbed his temple. "I really don't have the time for guessing games, Rai..."
Offline
"Guess you'll miss out then." Rai remains completely still.
He rolled his eyes heading over to his motorcycle.

Rai ambles away as well without looking back. Wow, this thread looks like it's gonna end.
The narrator is scrambling around to figure out how to save this thread.
Quinn was just about to put on his helmet when he glanced back at Rai. I really shouldn't be so hard on him... Funny how he's not with Frank. It suddenly hit him. FRANK! He facepalmed. I can't believe I nearly forgot about his birthday! He groaned. Now what do I do.
Offline
That's a pretty nice way of saving it, actually, except that Rai is now getting into a car.
Hmmm, that looks like not-his-car. Or maybe he has more cars than the 10-year-old-plus one?
He slams the door, not harder than usual.
Quinn put on his helmet and turned on his motorcycle, driving over to where Rai was and knocked on the window.
Offline
Rai literally rolls down the window a crack so his voice can filter through. "Wrong direction to drive, buddy. Good on you for putting on a helmet, but I gotta go. Bye."
The window goes back up and the car cranks up. Hmm, this time it actually sounds like it's not a 10-plus-year-old vehicle.
Quinn grunted and knocked on the window again, determined not to let Rai go yet.
Offline
Rai's not opening the window, unfortunately. He looks like he's patiently waiting for Quinn to leave. It's really hard to try to guess what he's thinking, but it seems beyond logic that he would want to keep Quinn out of a barely-made realization that he came all the way over for Quinn to make.
Well Quinn's not leaving yet. Wonder how long they'll start using it as a competition.
Offline
Rai is so patient that he's literally staring at Quinn with an unreadable expression on his face.
Quinn frowned as he waited for the window to open again. He's seriously not doing this, is he? he thought in frustration.
Offline
(Yes sir yes sirrr yes siirrr)
Yes sir.
Okay, sorry. Yeah, he's seriously doing this.
He just said something, but because of the window it just sounds like he said something about lunch.
(*giggles*)
Quinn's frown turned into a scowl, and he motioned for the window to go down.
Offline
The window rolls down. Rai flips his hair slightly before putting an arm out the window.
"Sorry, sir, Rai's Restaurant is closed for drive-throughs at this hour," he tells the other with a monotone. "Please come back at a later hour."
"Now's really not the time for jokes, Rai," he growled. "Do you know where Frank is?"
Offline
"Beats me," replies Rai, which usually means...actually, it doesn't mean anything. He could actually know or he could actually not know.
"...You're usually around him."
Offline
"Sounds like today's a special case to me." Rai slightly turns around the other direction to gesture to the empty back of the car. "If it weren't, I'd be committing the felony of stuffing someone without a seatbelt into the trunk, wouldn't I?"
Quinn paused, taking a moment on deciding whether Rai would be that type of person. "...Open the trunk." He paused. "Please."
Offline
"Nope. You'll just have to take my word for it."
That's not concerning at all, but in actuality, Frank's actually not in the trunk.
Quinn started tapping his finger on the handle of his motorcycle, something he usually did when he was irritated.
...If he had something to tap his finger on.
"Do you know where he might be?"
