"That's not up. That's you," Rai goes, with his bad sense of humor as usual. "Ah, never mind. Why don't you go eat lunch or somethin'?"

"Yeah, busy eating. Go join 'em, kid. At least eat something nutritional. It's good for you." 

"What? Is your girlfriend out sick today? Or did I miss something? Drama, perhaps?" 

"Sounds concerning. Maybe you can play detective for that?" he suggests. "That way you won't be so bored, maybe. You'd also have someone to eat lunch with. Talk about two birds with one stone." He shifts a bit in his seat. The rustling sounds probably get to the other side of the phone, but at least it doesn't sound concerning.

"...Did someone merge the two of us without my consent? That sounds illegal." He's referring to how Frank's talking to Rai, not himself.

"Never mind," he goes. "The point is that you should go eat no matter whether or not you have company."

"Sorry, little guy. I'm pretty far from Rayani right now."

"Yep. Working." Rai gets the phone a little further from him as soon as Frank starts sighing, like he knew what the other was going to do.

"At the moment, the dude's on lunch break, actually. Earlier he implied that his break is much longer than mine, so maybe you can give him a call about joining you for lunch," he suggests.

"We all need a bother once in a while. Also, no," he goes. Right. Probably should've said "No" first, Rai.

"Cool. Maybe he needs more bugging in his life," he suggests, adding, "Never knew it until he got it."

"If he completely ignores you, I'll give him a good ol' chiding," Rai reassures, though his voice really seems unfit for chiding, to be honest.

"It isn't? Whatever could you mean?" Rai asks, blinking innocently.

"Right, so I'll do it for you."

"Why the incredulousness all of a sudden?" Rai questions back.
